About us
First and foremost, we are passionate climbers — deeply addicted to days spent outdoors, to touching rock and enjoying it.
We all have different personal histories with climbing, but if they have led us to the same place, it’s because we share a curious mindset, and for all of us the search matters more than the goal.
That same place — more a circumstance than an actual place — was our encounter with Paolo Caruso.
For none of us did it come at the beginning of the journey. Questioning your own technical skills after years of experience, when you are already climbing around grade 8, is not easy. On top of that, we were not completely free from the prejudice that difficulty climbing and the Caruso Method® belonged to opposing worlds.

About us
Our meeting with Paolo was so rich and inspiring that it convinced us to study the Method — which did not mean abandoning our previous way of experiencing climbing.
We started by dedicating a few hours a week — taken from the many hours we had always set aside for climbing — to refining the techniques of the Caruso Method® on very easy terrain. The rest of the time, we played the same old game: pushing our limits, knife between our teeth, letting whatever came flow freely.
Realizing the synergy between these two aspects was immediate. As the application of the techniques (on fourth-grade terrain) became more fluid and precise, the efficiency of our movement on more demanding terrain improved at least at the same pace. Over the two years of training with Paolo, all of us raised our maximum climbing grade — without working on strength at all.
This should not be surprising: changing movement automatisms, especially the most fundamental ones, with more efficient alternatives works!
What surprised us the most, however, was not the increase in grade, but the increase in the quality of time spent on the rock.
Moving more fluidly, with better balance, in greater harmony with one’s breath, is certainly more efficient — but above all, it is more fulfilling.
After receiving all this from the Caruso Method®, and after earning the qualification of Sport Climbing Instructors with IAMAS (its official school), we decided to work together so that anyone who wants access to this knowledge — and to enjoy it — can do so.
Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, advanced, or elite climber: learning to climb well is finally possible — all it takes is truly wanting to.
